I think we had a fair result today with a well earned point.
The fight and determination our players showed, is proof of the top team status we are gradually regaining.
Consistency is key and we have managed to be consistent every week.

HBA is showing more confidence every week.
To come away with a draw today is fantastic and the team effort that kept us in the match. Im not bothered by Alex Ferguson's unwillingness to give us credit. That is his problem and makes him look a bad loser.... Need I say no more!!! Thats probably why he doesnt get on...

The result today was fair considering Man. City won by 2 penalties and had they not been given away, 1-1 could of been the score, continuing our unbeaten run to 12 and a point would have been ours.

We done better than Man. Utd who lost 6-1.
When I saw the line ip I was a bit dubioys to see Sammy Ameobi starting. In my opinion hes not ready for first team football let alone starting in a big game like this. I would have preferred Peter Lovenkrands or Dan Gosling. I feel Sammy needs first team football for a lower league team, so a loan move would be a great...

OK Stig, it's that time mate,

Q1, With the start that the team has had, where do you realistically see us finishing at the end of the season?

To be honest it is early to say just yet but I do see us finishing the season with a Europe spot.
Where ever we are in the table by January is always a good indicator of where you potentially could finish.

Q2, Who has been your stand out player of the season so far?

Stig: In my opinion there has been many players in the toon camp that have stood out. Coloccini is one of the most consistent and...

Hatem Ben Arfa is a striker in my eyes.
Fellow Frenchman Thierry Henry started off as a winger in his younger days.

    HBA shows alot of Henry
    traits that enabled him to
    be a success.
HBA has a power shot like
    him, hes greedy on the
    ball, great pace and skill
all these traits are of a
    striker and HBA could be
    a huge success if played
    up front.

Mike Ashley has been in the papers again this weekend for all the wrong reasons.

Paparazzi snapped up photos of him in a Chinese Restaurant just in his boxers after stripping there.

I think it's absolutely shameful behaviour that only brings further shame on Newcastle.
There was absolutely no need for it and I think he is in a way trying to worm his way in with the fans to make them think he is cool. - This is far from it as the fans are appauled and quite rightly so.
    Im disgusted.

    Who was he stripping for?
You can make your own mind on that....

Alan Pardew's Newcastle Side are currently unbeaten in all competitions tallying to 7 games and the defence have only conceded 2 in the league.

Pardew has done the best job for Newcastle since Sir Bobby Robson in my opinion and also by statistics.
He has united the team and re-ignited the strong passion and determination to succeed. This was always there but the new look team have adpated well to it and play as a unit.

Like I said I feel Newcastle can win the Carling Cup with the right fixtures and results also upping their game. I'm not getting carried away at all just...

Newcastle have made it to the 4th Round Of The Carling Cup after narrowly beating Notts Forest 4-3, with Fabricio Coloccini scoring the winner in the last minute of extra time.

The big question is can Newcastle win the Carling Cup?

Newcastle have had both of their matches away which can be very tough as the home fans get right behind the home team and the small stadium gets full of home atmosphere which spurs the home team on hence why a home tie for Newcastle in the next round would be fantastic for them. 50,000 Newcastle fans cheering them on, filling...

Firstly I would like to say i'm pleased for Leon Best that Alan Pardew has realised his potential.
When I heard the news I was delighted.

I've always been a fan of Leon Best since his hatrick against West Ham last season.
He was brought in after Carroll got injured then in his first game he scores a hatrick.
To top it all off he's only 24 with plenty to offer.

To be a success you dont have to have big name players.
Tim Krul, Leon Best and many more prove this.

    Great news for Newcastle.

Derek Llambias has agreed to participate in a Q&A session with the Evening Chronicle, where he will be asked the top 12 Questions chosen by the paper from the fans.

Communication with the fans has been a huge lack within the Newcastle Board.

I think it shows a willingness to connect with the fans more after a statement was released by Llambias after the club didnt bring another striker in and now hes chosen to take part in this Q&A session.
Whether they are telling us the truth is another matter.

    This will be very interesting!!!

    I'm very happy
    with the current signings
    we've made
What im not happy with is
    the way the fans were
    promised a new striker
    would be bought and they
set us up getting us all
excited then fail to bring a
    striker in
Its not on they've had two
    months to sort it out
the fans get treated like a
    cat playing ball
    im disgusted with what has
    I certainly am
    not happy with whats gone
we were set up to be
    excited about a new
    striker then dropped
    more broken promises
    made to us and thats...

Just got to have a quick rant before I go to bed.....
Im completely disgusted at what MA has done to St James Park with his cheap tacky sports direct rubbish placed around the stadium.
hes a bull dozer trying to wreck our beautiful club.

Now he decided to take down our iconic east stand Newcastle United sign which is totally disrespectful causing a huge outburst by the fans who are not happy.
