Fans' Reaction: City 3-1 Newcastle
After Match Interview With The Fans
By Toon Stig
Man. City have beaten Newcastle 3-1 ending their eleven game unbeaten run.
I asked the fans what their thoughts are and how we will go into the next match against Man. Utd.
Jamie Lee said,
"Well we knew it was going
to be hard we were
hoping for a point or more
however we didnt offer
much of afret to they
backline thats how we
didnt get anymore goals
meanwhile are attacking
play wasnt that much
different to theres with a
equally 50/50 shot
acurarcy which brings us to
the point of why we need
a top striker who has been
in top flight football got
goal under his belt and
expierance hopefully we
can try and sort that out in
the next window against
man u we are going to
have to try the similar
tactics because we could
of got a poing if we broke
up there deffence and
someone there to finish it."
Jon Baker added, "Get that impact striker in
January Ashley. They
needed one today. Man.
City over powered
Newcastle today, plain
and simple. When ever
you thought Newcastle
would make might make
that come back, a turn
over. Taylor had all kinds
of problems today. I know
it's instinct, but try and
keep your arms down
when in the box. He's
lucky not to have gotten a
red card. Newcastle
should have had 2 or 3
goals, but then again, City
could have had a few
more also. Hopefully
Newcastle will rebound
from this loss and play a
better match next week
against Man. United."
Chez O'Brien remained optimistic,
"We showed our team spirit
throughout the game,
hence why we didn't get
hammered. We should
have took our chances as
that's what the difference
was. I think we can grab 3
points at old trafford
providing we take our
chances."
Ken Davison said,
"get behind the team. we
can beat anybody on our
day."
Uno Roa had this to say,
"We played well..we lost to
the best team in english
football right now..Steven
Taylor n Captain Colo are
MOTM..City took every
opportunity to scores
goals..we just unlucky with
2 great chances from Ba n
Ben Arfa hit the post..am
very proud what they hv
done for the past 12
games..Geordies all the
way!!!!"
Elliot Pring saw it like this,
"Some positives. ryan
Taylors first half was a
howler but glad to see he
picked himself up second
period. making use of our
possession is something
we need to work on thou.
when we did get the ball
we done little with it. ben
arfa was great today, and
colo for me was our man
of the match he contained
balotelli and aguero very
well."
