After Match Interview With The Fans

By Toon Stig

Newcastle drew 0-0 with Swansea and a touching tribute for Gary Speed took place before the match.
I caught up with two fans who were present at St. James' Park today, Jake Douglas and Harry Stewart.

Toon Stig, "What are your thoughts on the result today, who was your MOTM, can Newcastle improve in time for the WBA match in 4 days and how was it to be at the Gary Speed tribute?

Jake Douglas said, "My thoughts on the game
were that we were the
better side and we had
the best chances in the
game. The man of the
match was Coloccini.
Although Santon was
close. Yes they can go into
the West Brom game with
a lot of positives from
todays game and
with williamson coming
back its even better. The
tribute to Gary Speed was
incredible and the singer
was beautiful."

Harry Stewart had this to say, "I think Newcastle
played very well, they
deserved all three points
we was all over them for
most of the game but
didnt put enough pressure
on there goal, there was
only one person who was
motm for me and thats
santon he was brilliant
today very confident and
likes getting forward and
can deliver a decent ball
aswell, wednesday night is
going to be another tough
game but i reackon we
should get 3 points
because there defensive
and keeper are not as good
as swansea so if we play
like we did today then we
should be fine. the tribute
to speed was brilliant. Was
a great send of for the
legend everyone sung
there hearts out for him
and you could feel the
emotion around the
ground i have a video of
the last 45 seconds of it."
