Newcastle remain in 7th place, a point behind 6th placed Liverpool, after beating Bolton 2-0 at The Reebok after two goals in two minutes from Hatem Ben Arfa and Demba Ba.

The away side dominated most of the first half with Leon Best's shot grazed the bar early on and Ryan Taylor's free kick close to goal.
Martin Petrov came close for Bolton too with Tim Krul pulling off a top save.

Hatem Ben Arfa opened the scoring for the Toon with a volley.
Demba Ba then scored two minutes two minutes later to give Newcastle a 2-0 win, after going 6 games without a win, ending the winless drought. Bolton stay 19th, a point clear now of Blackburn after they drew with Liverpool.
