After Match Interview With The Fans
By Toon Stig
After the 3-2 defeat to WBA I caught up with two fans, David Paulsen and Daniel Straker.
Toon Stig:
"What are your thoughts on the result, how can Newcastle approach their next game and will this poor run end?"
David Paulsen said, "In all honestly most of the
team looked off, Simpson
has been off for a long
time now, I think we really
need a much better RB,
Although Perch made
some good meaty tackles
he CAN'T play CB, he lost
pretty much every header,
Obertan and Jonas looked
terrified of trying to attack
which has been the case
for weeks also!! As for
Tiote, he looked like he
had one foot out the door
ready to go to Chelsea,
absolute shocker of a
game!! He didn't look
arsed, it was
heartbreaking!! As for any
plus points, Vuckic was like
a breath of fresh air,
running his arse off,
making challenges and
running at their defence,
never mind his two sweet
strikes he had! Demba Ba
is awesome, a delightful
treat who will score 20-30
for us this year if he can
keep fit!! Ben Arfa was
wicked when he was finally
allowed on the pitch!! I'd
say on the majority of the
teams performance then
West Brom deserved the
win, although I was
amazed at how bad the
decisions were by the
referee and his linesmen!!
I've pretty much lost my
voice telling them how I
feel, it's a lot harder for
our 11 men to beat 14 on
nights like tonight!! We will
get out of this once we
start to get players back
or bring in some new
faces, id like Williamson
back with Colo and maybe
rest Tiote a bit longer and
let young Vuckic play in
the middle with
dreamboat Cabaye!! Also,
Ben Arfa has to start
against Bolton instead of
Best id say!!"
Daniel Straker had this to say,
"to approach the next
game i feel we need to
give Ben Arfa a chance to
shine. he had bright spells
when he came on, i feel
Williamson should start in
place of Perch to bring a
stronger character in at
Center back
The poor run will end
eventually, it always does.
we've been fairly unlucky
in games like Swansea
which we should have won.
just need the luck."
