Can't come fast enough for this toon fan.
The international break is always a bore. But this game I reckon will be well worth waiting for. Tottenham are a great side but I think we'll be up for it. Think we can get a draw.
Now then, I wonder if this time we'll see first starts for Santon and Ben Arfa.
I personally think Santon has waited long enough and we need to see what he's made of. and it sounds like Ba will be okay for the match so we'll probably see him line up with Best as a front pairing, but I'd like to see Ben Arfa line up behind Ba. Ben Arfa is a regular for us when he gets into his stride. They've both had long enough to get back into match standard and I'm sure they're both (Santon and Ben Arfa) itching to start and play.

Re: Next Match: Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Given that there was little international duty within the Toon camp this past week, there should be a fresh group of legs for Sunday's game.
I hear Adebayor and Van der Vaart are in serious doubt for the trip to St James' with hamstring problems during Euro duty so it might weaken Spurs' attack and up Toon's chances to take all 3 points.
I expect the same XI to be fielded for the third league game running (Krul, Coloccini, Simpson, R Taylor, S Taylor, Cabaye, Gutierrez, Tiote, Ba, Best, Obertan)
If there are one or two things to take into this game, is for Toon to take their chances as best as possible...PLUS...remain solid at the back from 1st to last minute, I'm sure we don't want a repeat of the tense scenes surrounding the Wolves game last time out...ALSO we don't want a repeat of last season's fixture when Lennon poked through the back line to deny Newcastle the victory in injury time.
Interestingly that late draw back in January ended Toon's run of four home wins in succession against Harry's boys so in terms of form we should expect a decent result once more. However Tottenham have had good away form so far this season so our boys will have to earn their black and white stripes even more to outclass Spurs' menacing style of play.
Despite this I will go for a tense but slightly comfortable 3-1 win for Toon just based on current form.

I agree that internationals are a bore.
I think Newcastle will win 2-1 and we have a decent record against spurs at our home.
Will be interesting to see our line up butmost likely will be the same line up we have been using.
