Ranger Charged With Assault

Nile Ranger has been charged with two counts of assault after an alleged attack took place outside a pub.
The 20-year old was alleged to have assaulted a man outside Cosy Joe's Pub on August 27.
It was first thought the victim suffered a broken jaw but it turned out to be bruising.
Ranger was recently arrested for drink driving.
A statement from the Northumbria Police read,
"Following an assault
outside Cosy Joe's pub in
the Bigg Market,
Newcastle, on Saturday
August 27, police have
today charged Nile
Ranger with two counts of
common assault and two
counts of assault
occasioning actual bodily
harm."
