Sochaux Striker, Modibo Maiga, who made it very clear in the summer of his desire to move to Newcastle, is set for a medical today.
Whether the medical has took place yet we currently are unaware.
The Mali International is thought to be on the brink of a £7m move.
If he signs he won't play for Newcastle until the ACON is over as his team Mali feature. It will be a good chance for Newcastle Fans to watch him play.
