Newcastle's Best 11 Empty Newcastle's Best 11

After the stress of last nights game, the 9 changes that were made, made me think what actually is our best 11 when all players are fit. This is now becoming quite a hard choice to make and of course opinions are going to be divided and discussions no doubt will be heated and long. Also what will be our best formation too play. So many things to discuss and ponder.

So here goes on my attempt of our best 11:

1. Krul - No brainer to start in goal this kid has the talent and drive to be our best keeper ever.

2. Simpson - The only reason I have picked him over R.Taylor is he is more defensive than Taylor

3. Santon - If the reports are true on this lad we will have a cracking player to replace a cracking player

4. S.Taylor - No explanation needed

5. Coloccini - See above

6. Tiote - The hardman needed to just protect the back line and break up opposition play

7. Ben Arfa - On the right wing and watching him last night if we keep him fit wow

8. Marveaux - In the centre given licence to roam (was impressed with him last night)

9. Best - Have gone for best but it was a tough decision I think given the run and service he will score goals for us, but to counteract that I don't think he is a lone forward, I think he needs a 4-4-2 formation. I was tempted to play Ba as I think he would be a better lone striker and he speaks French.

10. Cabaye - In the centre with Marveaux give him the order to shoot when he thinks it is right (I have tipped him to be our next Rob Lee/Gary Speed)

11. Jonas - On the left wing swapping over with Ben Arfa during the game

This team is set to play 4-5-1 with the 2 wingers Jonas and Ben Arfa to swap between each other and maybe also Marveaux to play on the wing and Ben Arfa through the middle

Do I have to do subs? Took me over an hour just to pick this first 11.

So now it is time for you fans to dissect my views and add your own.

Just remember this is just my opinion so please try not to be too critical

I've moved ths topic to Toon Talk which is a toon discussion area.
TalkMagpie is just for news hence why the right hand corner collumn of the forum is TALKMAGPIE so fans can see the latest news in a preview.
The more views this topic gets it will end up in bottom left of forum in most viewed.
So that means more sharing of the topic through various toon pages which also increases the traffic here.
