Demba Raises The Ba As Newcastle Continue Unbeaten Run
Newcastle have beaten Blackburn 3-1 after a Demba Ba hatrick gave them the win, ending Blackburn's 5 win record at St. James' Park.
Pardew's men went into the game looking to come away with all 3 points and continue their unbeaten run.
They stay 4th in the League and stretch their unbeaten run to 6 games and 8 games in all competitions.
Dema Ba gave Newcastle the lead after just 27 minutes than scored a header 3 minutes later to make it 2-0.
Hoillet scored for Blackburn to make it 2-1 and give them hope of an equaliser. Demba Ba later on made it 3-1 to seal the win for Newcastle and earn his first hatrick in English football. He has now scored as many goals in one game as Leon Best in two.
Blackburn's misery continued after Olsson recieved a second yellow card, reducing them to 10 men.
Hatem Ben Arfa made his PL return in the 73rd minute as substitute for hatrick-hero Ba, recieving a warm return at St. James Park.

Stig,
how did Ben Arfa play? will probably take him a little while to settle again but if he goes like he did before he was crocked then we could see some good stuff from him

Good to see you here Elliot Pringzy
Hagz, Ben Arfa played well and created a few chances so it's all good

Ben Arfa played well as soon as he came on setting up Best who should have made it 4-1

I never thought I rated him but after a performance like that, Ba is my new hero :-)

Totally agree
they were striker goals too not just tap ins

both best and ba played exceptionally well, now that Ba is off and running hopefully he can continue the form. what striker worries?

Newcastle certainly need to sign a back up striker though.
Sammy isnt really ready to play PL football.

Think come the end of the season Sammy will have come on leaps and bounds and B&B will be the most devastating strikeforce the Toon have had since Shearer & Ferdinand.
