Newcastle play at home this Saturday, facing a Wigan side that have only won one game this season.
The Home Side however are unbeaten in all games.

The last time these two teams faced each other was back in January where Shola Ameobi scored the only goal of the match giving Newcastle a 1-0 victory.

Northern Ireland boss Giovanni Trapponi has been personally invited to attend the match by Magpie boss Alan Pardew, so he can spectate on Leon Best's abilities in person after Trappatoni claimed Best wouldn't get a call up to his squad as he doesn't work hard enough. Pardew was quick to defend the Toon Ace saying it's 'unfair'. Demba Ba will be looking to continue his scoring ways, having scored 5 in 7 appearances. Shola Ameobi scored the equaliser against Spurs to earn Newcastle a well deserved point, netting in a beauty. He will most likely be used as an impact sub again, with Leon Best starting alongside Ba, to show Trappatoni his worth.
