Cheik Tiote is the latest Newcastle player to be injured after Shola Ameobi was ruled out of action for up to 6 weeks with a hamstring problem.

The Ivory Coast Midfielder picked up a knee injury and will miss his side's Carling Cup tie tommorow away to Blackburn.
Tiote could also miss the match on Monday away to Stoke.
