Pardew Makes Colo High Priority

Alan Pardew has made it very clear that Fabricio Coloccini signing a new contract is a high priority.
The Argentine was handed the Captain's Armband at Newcastle in the Summer after Former-Captain Kevin Nolan left the club. Since then, Coloccini has been the heart of the defence and been crucial for the team, picking up interest from other league sides along the way.
Pardew commented on the situation, "It's bubbling along
really.
"It's a
contract we need to get
right and quite rightly,
everyone is holding fire on
that to make sure it's
right.
"There are obviously talks
ongoing on that really."
