Modibo Maiga will only join Newcastle if Sochaux sign a replacement according to the chairman.

Sochaux have stated they are interested in signing Leeds winger Gradel as a replacement.

A day left of the window, anything can happen.............

what has Macheda done tho, his record aint that good. And I hope we are not getting carried away with Sammy but I have seen it before with players at this club Chopra comes to mind.

I think with Macheda we will have another Obertan. He did nothing for Man Utd cos he never got his chances but he's played well in his first couple of appearances. And Sammy WILL be a legend on Tyneside given his chances. I'm optimistic!!!!!!

he was out on loan in Italy last year at Sampdoria and only scored 1 in 16

only proplem with maiga is he'll be going to african nations for the next 2 years with it being held 2 years in a row so its not in the same year as the world cup
