Toon Stig's View: On Leon Best
Firstly I would like to say i'm pleased for Leon Best that Alan Pardew has realised his potential.
When I heard the news I was delighted.
I've always been a fan of Leon Best since his hatrick against West Ham last season.
He was brought in after Carroll got injured then in his first game he scores a hatrick.
To top it all off he's only 24 with plenty to offer.
To be a success you dont have to have big name players.
Tim Krul, Leon Best and many more prove this.
Great news for Newcastle.
