PREVIEW: Newcastle vs QPR

Newcastle have a home tie this Sunday at St. James' Park in a 13:30 KO, taking on Mark Hughes' QPR who was appointed on Tuesday after Neil Warnock recieved the axe.

It was a 0-0 stalemate at Loftus Road back in September.
The Magpies will be looking to continue their form after beating Man. Utd at SJP in their last league game. The visitors will be looking to impress and perform under their new manager.

Both teams are without key players due to the African Cup Of Nations - Ba and Tiote for Toon are in Africa and Taarabt for QPR is also out there. Newcastle are without Steven Taylor (achilles) and Danny Simpson (shoulder) should feature. Danny Guthrie returns to bolster the centre of midfield. Joey Barton will not face his former side after picking up a 3-match ban.
