Newcastle emerged victorious at St. James' Park on Sunday Afternoon with a 1-0 win over QPR, Leon Best scoring the crucial goal.
The visiting side started the match dominating much of the posession with Jay Bothroyd proving to be a real handful.
Helguson and Buzaky also had chances.
Shaun Wright-Phillips came very close hitting the bar with his dipping effort.
Yohan Cabaye went down injured with a currently unknown injury. Hatem Ben Arfa came on to replace him. With Ba and Tiote away at the ACON, Guthrie and Best played crucial roles. Best slotted home the only goal calmly to give Newcastle 3 points and up to 6th in the PL.
