Pardew Wants Taylor To Get England Call-Up

Alan Pardew feels it's time for in-form defender Steven Taylor to be called up for England.

Pardew said,
"Steven
is probably playing the
best football of his career
for me. I think he has a
chance of being involved
in England again.
"I think the management
should come and have a
look at him, he's doing
that well.
"I don't know how many
times the England
manager has seen us this
year or seen us last year
or has been to games in
the north-east, but he
would be welcome."

I think he deserves it but would a lad from the North East get in ahead of the favoured players from Man Utd? Smalling and Jones are both fantastic players but as for Jagielka, I think Taylor could oust him in the squad!
It's been a bumpy road for Taylor over the past couple of seasons but he does seem to have hit form and going into the Euros I think he would be a great asset to the England squad

thats what I thought but he certainly deserves a chance
