Newcastle United striker Demba Ba hopes his hat-trick against Blackburn Rovers can kickstart his career on Tyneside.
The Senegal international, 26, opened his account for the magpies but has been disappointed with his efforts since joining the club in June.
He said, “I haven't had a very good start, and now I'm happy to start scoring,” Ba told BBC Newcastle.
“I just hope I can work hard to keep scoring goals every week.”
