Newcastle head down to Bolton on Boxing Day to face Bolton Wanders at the Reebok Stadium in a 3pm kick off.
The last time these teams met, the score was 1-1 and was 5-1 to Bolton the last time they faced off at the Reebok.
Newcastle are currently 7th in the league table, 15 points clear of 19th placed Bolton.
Dan Gosling has one more match out before he can return due to his 3 match ban. Davide Santon picked up a knee injury in the match against WBA and faces tests. Yohan Cabaye returns to the fold after serving a one match ban. Nile Ranger and Peter Lovenkrands are both injured.
